Spring is the season of hope with flowers in full blossom. Amid the fresh spring air. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid an official visit to China from May (14 - 16) 2015 at the invitation of Chinese Premier LiKeqiang. He also visited Mongolia and South Korea.Indo - china

Mr. Modi was acorded a super high-level reception, In the first stop of the visit, the capital of home province of President Xi Jinping and a long time ancient capital of China, a grand tang Dynasty welcome ceremony was held to escort him into the city, the first-ever such foreign dignitary in more than a decade, Mr. Modi and Mr. Xi spent more than five hours together. In addition to official meeting they visited to Dacien Temple and Wild Goose Pagoda, built in commemoration of Xuan-zeng the eminent Chinese monk who went on a pilgrimage to india for buddhist scriptures and watched a traditional cultural performance together, Xuan-zeng had stayed in India for 17 years.

Modi - keqlang Meeting : Setting aside their border dispute. New Delhi and Beijing on May 15, 2015 signed 24 agreements, which would for the first time spur a pervasive dialogue among Indian and Chinese states, cities and businesses as they became the key drivers of foriegn policy with China.

Majors agreements are :- 

(a) The e-visa facility that was signed would enable Chinese applicants to apply for visas online a few days before, travel and having them processed and granted on arrival of india.
(b) 13 MoUs strengthening "people-to-people-ties," including "sister-city" ties between hyderabad and Quangdao, Aurangabad and Dunhuang.
(c) Consulates to bet set up in Chengdu ad Chennai.
(d) MoU between Doordarshan and China's State-run CCTV
